On my second look I thought more deeply about composition and all of that, and decided that I much preferred the layout of the second one. On the first one, I get to the bottom and feel like it's lopsided. Even though I enjoyed the top part of the design and the rougher nature of the design elements (fuzzy edges and sketchiness in contrast to the crisp cartoony feel of the second one)
