Swap 1/4 oz of gelatin for Jell-o. So if you're using, say, Knox, which tends to be the easiest to get, you will want to use two packets of Knox (1/2 oz. Jell-o) and one of Jell-o. You might also want to add a drop or two of food coloring to boost the color a touch.
