Haha, I loved those! I was just like freakin Peter when I was a kid. I mean it. But yeah, he's got a ton of other books in a series called "The Magic Shop." They're non-sequential, but they all start with the premise of this old guy running a portable magic shop and selling life-changing objects to unsuspecting adolescents. Dragon Hatcher was the best, but there are other good ones, too. Ooo, and what about the "Dimension X" series?!?! Oh man, I think a trip to the library is in order now. Fuck.
