When my sister first went to our new hair girl, she was like I WANT REALLY SHORT RETRO BANGS, but hers were really long at the time because she hadn't had a haircut in ages and the girl was like ARE YOU SURE? THIS SHORT? ARE YOU SURE SHORTER? I think someone stylists get nervous with new clients when they want a really drastic or dramatic change or cut because they don't know them.
