1) What is one trope you wish the superhero comics genre would retire already? (alternatively, what would you like to see more of?)
Let me get my all-too-easy sniffy-snobby-nerd reply out of the way here: "Gosh, only one?"

The reboot/deboot cycle wherein new characters (often of genders, sexualities and/or races that are not straight cisgendered white males) step into the shoes of/role of a previous character, are given time to establish a niche in the world and are summarily depowered/killed off/otherwise replaced with the person they replaced in the first place.

I choose this one over rampant hypersexualization, sexism/homophobia/racism in general and the conflation of misery with maturity because, well, it kind of touches on all of them (well, the [minority] version didn't double sales after three issues, back to old whitey!) while at the same time perpetuating the constant continuity-masturbation that is one of the things killing the long-form superhero comic book.

2) What was your favorite fairy tale when you were a kid?
Gosh, I don't even know! The one that's left the most lasting impression, though, was the Brave Little Tailor.
