So, the time has come to vote for LJ Idol entries! Votes are due tomorrow at 3PM Eastern Time.

This week's topic was "Playing House." I wrote a creepy little comic about a little boy who gets dared to go to a "haunted" house. You can read it here.

Here are a few of my favorites from this week:

[livejournal.com profile] notbatman wrote a photoessay about squatter's abodes. Read it here!

[livejournal.com profile] tamaraland wrote about the Nude Handyman she once hired. Read it here!

[livejournal.com profile] kittenboo wrote about her son's strange attachment to her mole. Read it here!

[livejournal.com profile] java_fiend wrote about what it means to have a truly obsessive mother. Read it here!

[livejournal.com profile] talonkarrde88 wrote a piece of creepy sci-fi suspense fiction. Read it here!

[livejournal.com profile] intrepia wrote about changing the world, one person at a time, Read it here!

[livejournal.com profile] strryeyedgrrl wrote personal narrative about the importance of childhood toys and mismatched priorities. Read it here!

I also just want to say that of this group, [livejournal.com profile] intrepia and [livejournal.com profile] talonkarrde88 have both consistently wrote some of my favorite pieces, and they're both not doing great in the polls this week. I'm not saying to stack the deck, but please try to given them a read and a vote if you agree.

Plus, there is a bonus piece that I am not counting as an official rec because I recced her last week, but [livejournal.com profile] rattsu's post this week is just too good to pass up. She took some photos of a creepy doll, and then added some writing that makes those photos EVEN CREEPIER.
