I was in career counseling and paying a crapload of money and it sucked. Basically, here is my career counseling experience:
TEA: Hi! I am trying to find a career that is creative and involves drawing and writing. COUNSELOR: Hmm, take the MBTI. I don't need to look at your work or anything. TEA: Here is my MBTI. It says I'm an INTP! COUNSELOR: Hmm, you should be a statistician. TEA: And how does that relate to writing and drawing and being creative? COUNSELOR: Uhh, shut up and give me more money! Statistician!
So now I'm getting counseling for free from my former college and it rocks.
