I would argue that spiced rum also makes the best "rum straight out the freakin' bottle." But yes, rum is wonderful and so is this comic!

Mmmm, rum. One of the few liquors that I enjoy the taste of alone and not just in a mixed drink. Although it makes even more delicious mixed drinks!

I think rum tends to have the most straight-off pleasant (not-challenging) flavor of all the typical liquors. I love gin and whiskey but they are not for every palate.
