It's my mommy's birthday today. It's making me horribly homesick that I'm not there, which is weird, because I usually haven't been around for her birthday in the past few years. I think part of it is that I've been here about a month now, so I'm getting over the initial settling-in bit which always makes me less worried about missing people and stuff like that.

I love my family and I miss them. I really wish they could find a house so I could go home for a little while.
