penwiper's site, lord of the peeps was shut down for alleged copyright violation.
Now, as you might also know, this is utter bull. As we ALL know from 2 live crew and Campbell v. Acuff-Rose Music, Inc. (1994) , PARODY IS FAIR USE.
As a professional designer and an artist, I'm pretty damned pissed. There is absolutely NO QUESTION that LotP is a parody site, and therefore falls under fair use as defined by the Supreme Court So I have a little present forpenwiper which you're all welcome to take if you like~
