How was the ice cream?

Date: 2009-10-17 05:10 pm (UTC)There is a book I used to read called Frankenstein's Aunt, who would befriend vampires because she knew they would never bite her because she ate so much garlic.

Date: 2009-10-17 05:09 pm (UTC)I start out with a mechanical pencil to do a rough sketch and then I ink with a Sakura Micron, 03 for most of the linework, 005 for the fine detailing, and 08 or 1 for the really thick outlines. I use Faber-Castell Pitt artist pens with a brush tip for the shading-- if you're interested in trying them out, they make a Manga Artist set that is a few black pens in different widths and then several different shades of grey with a brush tip. They also make color ones, which I've just bought to try.
