whirled came to visit and we ate all the things, and now I am in Denver eating more things and going on brewery tours. So I have just not been into updating this week or so. SOON.
in the meantime, I had a dream last night and it involved the following sentence: "All shades of pink light the world equally, but in different ways."
More when I have not just tasted 28 beers.

Date: 2011-09-30 11:07 pm (UTC)I was thinking maybe you could do a special ~halloween~ Gryff icon? Like make an icon of the Gryffindor crest, and then Photoshop a witch hat on it. Then offer to put people's names or usernames on said icon, and offer it to everyone who sorts quota. It could easily be done again with reindeer antlers at Christmas!

Organized religion and me don't get along, but I was the pianist at a small country church for a couple years anyway, for the music and the job. I distinctly remember sitting in the sermon between songs one day, zoning out a bit, when I suddenly felt/saw/imagined all these waves of pink and orange ethereal haze, like a sunset. It was just meandering gently through the room around us, just being there, in the presence of all that devotion and peace. My heart told me it was the form of god or divinity or what-have-you. It was nice.
