Man, reading some of those page scans makes me glad I never read any of the Harry Potters past Prisoner of Azkaban. I'm not pissed about any of the character spoilers, but seriously... The writing is just horrid in comparison to the ones I remember reading. I mean, was she too distracted by the publicists slobbering all over her in anticipation of their next cash cow or what?

I read the "It is." and my stomach just dropped in this aching, it-is-really-almost-over-and-you've-read-some-of-the-book-already-omg-its-almost-over-what-are-you-going-to-do-without-harry-potter-you-have-to-avoid-all-spoilers-until-tomorrow-night sort of way.

I don't want this to be over, even if the opening of the last movie is going to be so bad ass it will melt all of our brains because our inner fangirls that we repress when we are in the "real world" will take over and start shouting "SEE EVERYONE! THIS IS WHY HP IS SO AWESOME AND YOU HAVE BEEN FOOLS FOREVER FOR THINKING IT WAS SOMETHING SILLY AND JKR IS READING FANFIC BECAUSE WHY ELSE WOULD SHE PUT ALBINO PEACOCKS AT LUCIUS' HOUSE AND OPEN THE BOOK WITH A DEATH EATER BOARDROOM MEETING WHERE SNAPE IS AT HIS ABSOLUTE BEST AND YOU HAVE VOLDE BASICALLY GOING "YOUR FIRED!" The one thing I'm slightly confused about, though I might have to read the book again, is how, if Draco ran off with the Elder wand in HBP after disarming Dumbledore, did the wand then get into Dumbledore's grave? Why didn't Snape just take it from Draco?
