cold nights
Feb. 1st, 2002 01:16 amwent out fo' a beer with colin and mikey, got a lousy headache while we were out so i wussed out and went home and left colin alone at the bar, which he seemed fine with but i feel like i've been a pretty lousy friend to him lately...returned to a gigundous roach on our floor. mikey killed it with a paper and then went on a cleaning spree-- which i suppose is good if we're having this impromptu super-bowl-ad party. i have bleach all over my hands now.
mikey says this is easily the first superbowl where he truly dislikes both teams.
it was not the most gigundous roach i've ever seen, but the most gigundous one i've seen in a place where i was living.
ah well, the exterminator comes soon.
i have shin splints too.
i didn't get to work on KiSS at ALL tonight, that makes me pissy. what does lily look like? not the cat, the character in the song?
i also still haven't heard from network solutions about my website switchover. that is really annoying. i want to be able to have my pretty KiSS library soon. i want to do something that will instill a sense of patience. there are so many KiSS artists now who feel like they have to do a doll a week or something. no! i want people to feel comfortable doing several beta-tests, *redoing* parts of their work, and releasing a polished, real final product. it can't hurt for anyone to do it, even really great artists. i really think the reason lilah came out so well was because i went through so much beta-testing...i changed the entire hair mechanism, and made hair repeatable, and oh so many other things! it was great! the doll would have been nice no matter what, but going through all the beta-testing (like two weeks of it!) made it really just about as good as it could be.
