okay, so sara started asking me about potential pairings for aiko/kit and the, erm, resulting offspring. it was...ummm...hard. but it was also funny to think about so now i'm trying to list em all.
we'll start with the obvious two and then i just listed everyone currently in the game.
Orrie: Orrie is behaving like an utter shit right now. He's got way too many issues. At this point, I don't see this happening simply because Kit will be very cautious about dealing with him in the future, and because I think the very few friends she has right now would be somewhat disappointed in her if she tried to patch things up.
If they *were* to get together, there would be a slew more issues with having kids because of Orrie's issues with his parents. He's great with Khalil but I think he would freak if he had kids of his own. That being said, kids would be neglected in favor of parents' constant bickering, would have an inferiority complex due to dad's insane ego...we see where this is going?
Percy: Kit doesn't really see Percy as a viable partner/husband/whatever because he bores her to death. She's just in it for the hiding spells and the nookie, and as he's perfectly aware of this, it's fine for now, but I don't think Kit would be happy if she believed this were long-term.
kids: Kit would probably end up having to be a traditional mom, which she wouldn't like, but Percy wouldn't be very helpful raising children. Kids would end up probably being fairly vague but perfectly nice and obsessive-compulsive. They would be very well-mannered.
okay, now the real-rp chars, not taking into account who is taken or no in futures as written yet.
Colley:Colley's sweet, but would Kit ever consider him? Probably no. He's not really interesting enough for her, and considering her diet, she would probably drive him to tears. If she had any interest in food, I would tell her to reconsider, but she won't eat meat or heavy foods and she doesn't like to eat unless she has to.

Ev: I could almost see this one happening, considering Ev can *stand* Aiko and she's fairly good at talking to him. This would probably actually be a fairly sedate relationship; they would probably more or less leave each other to their own devices.

Klausy: okay, even grown up they would be an adorably cute couple. they could spar together and play games together and, again, klaus would never let kit take herself too seriously. for some reason kit doesn't care that klausy is dense, because he's so strange that it almost seems like he's not.
kids: their kids would be utterly wisterian. they'd be rambunctious but good-naturedly so, and they would probably enjoy mommy's spirit-things entirely too much.
Kohle: kit doesn't know him very well, neither does aiko, and i don't think she'd see him as a possibility, but he's fairly stable, and again, he has enough of a sense of humor that it couldn't hurt. i'm not sure she'd find him all that interesting otherwise though.
kids: i don't really know kohle well enough to make judgments on kids; they would probably be fairly normal kids however.
Saxxy: agh, this is tough because i've only considered the potentiality of a marriage of convenience. =P lemme think. The plus here is that Kit would get the verbal sparring bit that she likes about Orrie without the, umm, abusive behavior. She's also already learned her lesson about sticking her nose in his business, to the point that she would probably leave him alone.

a new list for aiko
Jul. 16th, 2002 01:16 pmi took the friends list and am taking part in a new exercise. this one is different. rosie said on sheroes that everyone loves aiko. i don't really think that's true.
what does aiko think these people feel about her?
Colley: colley probably hasn't much idea who she is.
Sax: sax apparently respects her opinion, if he asked her about renna, but she doesn't think they really quite speak the same language.
Aphraea: aphraea probably doesn't know her, since she's never written an history book.
Renna: renna, too, apparently respects her opinion, since she asked her about sax. aiko doesn't know how much renna likes her per se.
Lesta: lesta obviously likes her. aiko feels bad that lesta thinks she knows aiko well and aiko doesn't feel she knows lesta at all
Cora: cora doesn't know her.
Gia: gia apparently has a little bit of a mothering instinct toward her and likes her.
Everett: she knows he let his guard down for her, in more ways than one. he trusts her and she knows that he is not naturally trusting. she knows she has the ability to affect him and is tempted to test the limits of this, though not as much as she might have if she didn't realize te extent of the risk to him. so she's doing little things, like seeing if he'll instigate a conversation with her. he did.
Maire: maire probably doesn't know her at all.
Tasya: tas, like gia, has a bit of a mothering-streak. aiko knows tas cares for her, but she also has a feeling tas would apply this to most people.
Mina: aiko thinks mina likes her but is slightly unsure of her. mina is nice to her and has taken her under confidence a couple times.
Brayan: he doesn't know her.
Klaus: klaus likes her as a friend and is interested in her training and abilities. he is a good friend & it is a pretty risk-free relationship.
Kaju: kaju likes her but there's that awkwardness over the kissing thing.

Maaya: doesn't know her

aiko feels very complimented. she didn't think she'd get to him quite so quickly.

Jul. 8th, 2002 12:16 pmi'm semi- amazed by some of the things that happen in RP. it's very strange when characters think for themselves at the spur of the moment. i had thought at thought of things for aiko to say...you know, "what will she say, what will she say?" and then sometimes she will just say something that would never have occurred to me, not in a million years. like when she screamed to find mina. that was nuts. i was sitting there trying to figure out how the hell she was going to find mina, and what does she do? she goes, "oh, let me figure out what that sound is by replicating it at a louder volume." and she said it would work. and it did.
thinking like her is weird. she thinks before she speaks, which is something i have never done, as many of you well know. and despite her response when asked, yes, she does see everything as a problem to be solved. there's a one to one correspondence for her too.
geesh, for any of you who have never done written RP, i highly recommend it as a writing exercise. it's a great way to study character development, it is to writing what improv is to theater.

i'm silly, yea...and supposedly working right now.
now i forget if there was something specific i wanted to do. oh yeah, i wanted to take jamie's list and do the "what aiko really thinks" thing. not counting how many friends she has...because in aiko's case that's not important. but it seems like an interesting exercise since aiko doesn't tell people what she thinks in so many words.
Colley: talked to him at the ball, he seems nice. no real opinion.
Sax: aiko really likes sax a lot. she thinks he cares too deeply about things. but he went after spidren without even knowing her and he went after ry when ry was angry.
Aphraea: doesn't really know her. thinks she overvalues academics
Renna: was a little scared by the ren/tas convo about marriage. but likes her for now.
Ana: only really met her. doesn't know her well.
Lesta: lesta likes her. i don't think aiko is sure of lesta.
Cora: doesn't really know cora.
Gia: likes gia a lot. gia hugged her which was weird.
Everett: he's confusing her now. she is downright convinced she will figure him out. silly mage.
Maire: knows her only a little. aiko never really got to be a litle girl so she's a little confused by her.
Tasya: likes tas a lot. is touched by tas' sympathetic streak. looks up to her.
Mina: mina is one of three people she trusts.
Brayan: doesn't know him.
Klaus: adores klaus in a kind of non-romantic crush way.
Kaju: likes kaju but feels awkward around him.

Tia: absolutely hates tia for her overdominance and the way she treated ry.

i think i need to create a journal just for aiko. maybe i'll make a friends-only group so all the rest of my friends don't have to hear about fictional people you don't know.
i'm going to meet DM and krys tonight! i was going to make paper plate masks of our RP chars so we could take funny pics but i never got to a store to by yarn for hair. oh well. this is going to be fun!
i'm feeling terribly antisocial. my parents want me to come out for the 4th. i don't particularly want to go anywhere. mikey is pushing me to go out there because he thinks someone is going to nuke manhattan on the 4th or something. oy. i feel bad being antisocial toward the rents but i can't help it. my mom's response was "i understand. you've been like that all your life."

i'm going to meet DM and krys tonight! i was going to make paper plate masks of our RP chars so we could take funny pics but i never got to a store to by yarn for hair. oh well. this is going to be fun!
i'm feeling terribly antisocial. my parents want me to come out for the 4th. i don't particularly want to go anywhere. mikey is pushing me to go out there because he thinks someone is going to nuke manhattan on the 4th or something. oy. i feel bad being antisocial toward the rents but i can't help it. my mom's response was "i understand. you've been like that all your life."

i think i need to create a journal just for aiko. maybe i'll make a friends-only group so all the rest of my friends don't have to hear about fictional people you don't know.
