Last night, [livejournal.com profile] cacophonesque and I went to a bar and then to dinner.

We started talking about The Myers-Briggs< Inventory, and discovered we had the following in common:

--We both score very close to the threshold on the "E/I" (Extrovert/Introvert) scale, and often switch sides because we are just a few points from the middle.
--We both score as an N on the "N/S" (Intuiting/Sensing) scale.
--We both score as a P on the "J/P" (Judging/Perceiving) scale.

On the last scale, one of us is an "F" (Feeling) and one of us is a "T" (Thinking).

We were wondering if our friendslists could guess. Many of you know both of us, so we were wondering.

I am in IT.

I found the test I took at the career center a few years ago! It says FP.

That's interesting, because Js are supposed to do better with set routines and plans and stress out when things get uncertain or when their routines are disrupted, which is pretty you. Ps are more like me in the sense that they don't do well with set routines and work better with spur of the moment type things. But I will not question the career center!

But I don't make plans for anything! What stresses me out is when I know I should be planning but don't wanna.

I do usually wind up in routines due to inherent laziness, though.

Oh it's not whether you plan things personally! It's whether you do better when you're given a plan...like, if you're in a class that has a syllabus with "this paper is due this day" versus a class with a syllabus that says "three papers due by end of class." A J would prefer the first, a P would prefer the second.

Either way, it is one of your initials so I think it is ok!
